The MILES Program Vehicle Service Contract covers much more than a standard powertrain warranty.
The service contract includes the major vehicle components listed below. (See your service contract document for terms and conditions).
A. ENGINE: Engine block, cylinder head, rotor housing, oil pan, valve cover, timing cover; air cleaner housing; all internally lubricated parts contained within the engine; oil pump; timing chain, gears, and tensioners; timing belt and tensioners; balance belt; variable valve camshaft adjuster; distributor shaft and housing; vacuum pump; intake and exhaust manifolds; harmonic balancer; engine mounts; water pump; flywheel; flexplate; and engine mounts.
B. TRANSMISSION, TRANSAXLE, and TRANSFER CASE (Automatic and Standard): Case housings, housing covers, and pans; all internally lubricated parts contained within the housing; torque converter; viscous coupling; vacuum modulator; transmission mounts; and range position sensor/switch.
C. DRIVE AXLE (Included transaxle and four (4) wheel drive vehicles): Front and rear drive axle housings and covers; all internally lubricated parts contained within the drive axle housings; axle shafts; constant velocity joints and boots; driveshafts; universal joints; flex discs; driveshaft center support bearing; driveshaft yokes; four (4) wheel drive engagement actuators and motors; and four (4) wheel drive locking hubs.
D. SUSPENSION: Upper and lower control arms , their shafts and bushings; control arm thrust rods, their bushings and links; ball joints; wheel hub and wheel bearings; steering knuckles/spindles; stabilizer bar, bushings and links; radius arm bushings; coil springs; leaf springs, their shackles and bushing; MacPherson struts and mounts; electronic level control compressor, sensors, and limiters; and torsion bars and their mounts.
E. STEERING: Steering gear, rack and pinion housings, and all internally lubricated parts contained within the housings; power steering pump, its reservoir, pulley and mounting bracket; power cylinder assembly; power steering motor; steering column shaft, its couplings and bearings; tie rod ends; pitman arm; idler arm, and all other steering linkages.
F. BRAKES: Master cylinder; vacuum or hydro booster; wheel cylinders; calipers; vacuum pump; brake pedal assembly; equalizer and distributing valves; parking brake assembly; backing plats; ABS electronic control unit, wheel speed sensor, and exciters; and ABS proportioning control valves and high-pressure hydraulic pump.
G. FUEL: Fuel injectors; fuel pump; fuel sender assembly; fuel rail’ IAC motor; waste gate; intercooler; supercharge pulley; fuel pressure regulator; fuel tank and lines; oxygen (O2) sensors; and all internal parts of the turbocharger or supercharger and their housings.
H. COOLING: Radiator and its brackets, thermostat, heater core; heater control valve; cooling fan motor and its relay, fan clutch; fan shroud; fan blades; and coolant recovery tank.
I. ELECTRICAL: Starter motor; starter solenoid; alternator and its mounting bracket; voltage regulator; wiper motor; power seat motor and relays; power window motors and relays; electric driver and passenger door lock actuators; window washer fluid pumps; all manually operated switches; wiring harnesses; and oil pressure sending unit.
J. INTERIOR CLIMATE AND COMFORT (Factory or dealer installed with factory approved parts only): Air conditioning compressor, clutch, pulley and its mounting bracket; accumulator; receiver dyer; evaporator; condenser; idler pulleys and bearings; serpentine belt tensioner; expansion valve; orifice tube; air conditioning pressure switches, heated rear window defroster; ducts and outlet hoses; and blower motor and fan.
K. POWER TECH AND ELECTRONICS: Manual and power window regulators; power antenna motor and mast; power trunk or tailgate actuator and motor; power headlight door motors and actuators; power sunroof motor (factory installed only); convertible top lift motor; power seat motor transmission and cables; power set track assembly; power mirror motors; cruise control module and display; instrument panel printed circuit board; temperature control programmer; compass and thermometer; factory keyless entry transmitter and receiver; factory installed anti-theft devices; transmission and transfer case control modules; ignition control modules; fuel injection control modules; fuel injection sensors; body control modules; SRS control unit; and electronic air conditioning control head and module.
L. UTILITY PACKAGE: Step bumpers and their mounting brackets; spare tire carrier or swing army, pivots, latch , and lock; running boards; swing away mirror and mounts (does not include mirror glass breakage); pop-out or sliding side/rear window latches and hinges; convenience bed liner (not including warpage); tailgate handles, locks, hinges, latches, and cables; tool storage boxes; interior storage racks; skid plates; tow and cargo tie-down hooks; power winch motor , its controller and wire harness,; power winch roller; brush and headlight guards; trailer hitch receiver , insert, and plug receptacle; and auxiliary fuel tank and its switch over valve.
M. SEALS AND GASKETS: Seals and gaskets for all parts listed above.
A. $0 DEDUCTIBLE: The MILES Service Contract features a $0 deductible when a covered repair is
performed by any of our 500+ dealers of the MILES National Certified Dealer Network.
B. CAR RENTAL: Car rental reimbursement will be paid during covered maintenance.
C. ROADSIDE SERVICE: Roadside Service on your approved vehicle can provide you with towing,
jump starting, tire changes, lock out, and fluid delivery.
D. TRIP INTERRUPTION (N/A in HI and WV): If you experience a mechanical breakdown more than
100 miles from home you may receive reimbursement for meals and lodging.
